26/04/2022 - To implement a red route on the Castle Donington Relief Road, Castle Donington. ref: 14751    Recommendations Approved

The introduction of a red route on the private roads around Castle Donington airport by East Midlands Airport Authority meant that there was an immediate safety concern on the surrounding highway network. It was therefore decided to introduce a red route on the highway network as an experimental traffic regulation order (ETRO) in 2019.
The ETRO has now expired and proved to be successful and for the restrictions to remain in place they need to be made permanent. Due to a delay in making the order permanent the order was re-advertised 2022.
