Reinstate the street lighting in Enderby and Narborough all night to prevent further increases in vehicle crime

We the undersigned petition the Council to Reinstate the lighting of all street lamps past 12am in Enderby and Narborough as soon as possible.

Since the lighting has been switched off as a cost cutting exercise the amount of vehicle crime has more than tripled in the past few months. If the street lighting is on its naturally a deterrent to criminals for fear they'll be seen easily.
The local police can only patrol so much with the cuts that have been made to their services. The least the council can do is turn the lights back on to stop this crime wave. Our villages are being targeted because of the perfect conditions provided to the theives and it has to stop.
