Decision details

Following a request from the schools to be included in the School Keep Clear Project - School Keep Clear (zig-zag) markings are to be installed outside the pedestrian entrances at the schools to keep an area clear of stationary vehicles. This provides a safe area for pedestrians to cross.

To implement mandatory School Keep Clear Markings at the Schools listed below in North West Leicestershire District:

Snarestone Primary School, Main Street
Woodcote Primary School, Willowbrook Close, Ashby Worthington School, Main Street
Hugglescote Primary School,Ashburton Road
Newton Burgoland Primary School, School Lane
Orchard Primary School, Grange Drive, Castle Donnington
Saint Clare's Primary School,Convent Drive, Coalville

No objections were received to the schemes at the schools listed. Some comments or queries were received and have been responded to directly.
