A review as to how best to manage the traffic network across the County identified on-street parking as a factor that can affect the economy. The objectives are to encourage sensible and safe parking to keep traffic moving, make the road network safer and to meet the public's needs and demands for on-street parking to assist with the local economy requirements. As such it was proposed to create an un-restricted parking bay on Belvoir Road, Coalville between nos. 225-249 which would also act as natural traffic calming.
Following the construction of the new development on Kinghorn Close, Coalville it is necessary to propose an extension to the existing No Waiting At Any Time restrictions and the introduction of restricted parking Monday- Saturday, 8am-6pm on behalf of the developer. The proposed restrictions will create a safe highway environment allowing for safe passage for all its users.
To install a unrestricted parking bay on Belvoir Road, Coalville and install limited waiting and the extension of NWAAT on Kinghorn Close, Coalville.
Both schemes have been subject to public consultation to which no objections were received.
